Maior premiação da indústria da música, a cerimônia do 56º Grammy ocorre neste domingo, em Los Angeles. Além da entrega dos troféus, a festa é tradicionalmente palco para encontros de gigantes de todos os gêneros musicais.
Neste ano, a expectativa girava em torno de uma possível apresentação conjunta de Paul McCartney e Ringo Starr. Os dois beatles estão confirmados para tocar na cerimônia, mas, segundo Neil Portnow, um dos organizadores do Grammy, o encontro não deverá rolar.
Entre os shows conjuntos divulgados, estão Jay Z e a mulher dele, Beyoncé; a dupla de "robôs" do Daft Punk tocando com Nile Rodgers, Pharrell Williams e Stevie Wonder; Metallica com o pianista Lang Lang; e um supergrupo de rock formado pelos integrantes de Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age, o vocalista do Foo Fighters, Dave Grohl, e Lindsey Buckingham, do Fleetwood Mac.Outras dobradinhas incluem Robin Thicke com o decano grupo Chicago e o rapper Kendrick Lamar com os roqueiros do Imagine Dragons.
